first day of school.

i always forget how quiet things are on the first day of school once the bigger kids head out; despite having two little ones at home.

the morning is filled with excitement and this is probably the only day that they don't actually complain about getting up early.

michael agonized over his hair and gave the typical preteen grumblings over his clothes; but things overall went pretty smoothly! here's a few shots for you to enjoy :)
